It’s been said that iron sharpens irons, and it cannot be any more emphasized between Liam Harrison and ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9.

Harrison, who's a three-time Muay Thai world champion, is no slouch with his kicks but he experienced firsthand just how fearsome Superlek is. The Thai star is even called 'The Kicking Machine' due to his devastating attacks.

The two top strikers have trained together, as evidenced by Harrison’s Instagram post, in what could be one of the most interesting training sessions in combat sports.

Superlek’s training with Harrison could prove pivotal too as he defends his gold against Rodtang Jitmuangnon at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video.

Liam Harrison, who’s been an all-around class guy in the martial arts community, admitted that he’s rooting for Superlek in the Thai star’s massive showdown against Rodtang this March 24, US primetime, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

He wrote on Instagram:

“He defends his ONE Championship title this Friday….the fastest right kick I’ve ever seen or been hit with…I’m not exactly slow but you can see here just how fast he is. Good luck mate will be rooting for you #onechampionship #sparring #muaythaisparring #muaythai #superlek."

Superlek Kiatmoo9 is already considered a generational talent in both Muay Thai and kickboxing with a professional record of 132-29-4 and 8-1 within ONE Championship.

The 27-year-old is also a four-time Muay Thai world champion before capturing the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title this past January when he beat Daniel Puertas for the vacant belt.

Rodtang, meanwhile, is a different beast altogether. The reigning ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion boasts an overall record of 270-42-10 and is a perfect 13-0 in his striking matches in ONE Championship.

ONE Fight Night 8 is available live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
