Former UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway is set to make his return to the octagon in a highly anticipated matchup against Arnold Allen, a rising star in the featherweight division. The two fighters have agreed to face off in a 145-pound matchup that is expected to headline UFC Fight Night on April 15.

Max Holloway is set to return to the octagon after suffering a crucial loss to current champion Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 276 in July 2022. The loss was the third time Holloway had lost to Volkanovski since 2019, putting his future in the division in doubt.

Despite this setback, 'Blessed' is still widely regarded as one of the top featherweights in the UFC, second only to the dominant champion Volkanovski. However, with Volkanovski firmly entrenched as the king of the division, it will be a tough road for Holloway to secure another title fight anytime soon.

The T-Mobile Center is all set to host a thrilling event featuring a clash between Max Holloway from Hawaii and Arnold Allen from Britain. The keenly awaited matchup was previously delayed due to a rib injury that Allen sustained, causing him to miss out on an opportunity to fight former UFC champion Holloway at UFC 286 in London. Nonetheless, both fighters are now fully fit and ready to put on a spectacular show for the fans at the upcoming event.

Allen enters the fight ranked fourth in the UFC and will look to extend his lead at the top of the featherweight class with a victory in Kansas City.
