Miesha Tate hit back at a fan for insulting UFC fighters who advocate for Donald Trump. The former president is a passionate fight fan, who also helped the UFC survive a difficult phase during the early years of the Zuffa era. He continues to have strong personal relationships with UFC CEO Dana White and many high-profile MMA fighters, who have been his vocal supporters for the 2024 US presidential elections.
Recently, a social media user took to X and criticized UFC fighters for supporting Trump, writing:
"Funny watching people with the most brain damage all unanimously vote for Trump, like that’s not indicative of anything."
Tate, a former UFC champion, responded:
"You mean the toughest most physically capable people with the most heart & work ethic? The people you’d hope to have near you if sh** was going down? Good people with a sense of what it takes to fight for and save this Country?"
The fan's comments were in response to UFC star Justin Gaethje's post on X. The former interim lightweight champion strongly condemned musician DJ Envy's video where his eight-year-old daughter was seen wearing clothes that many felt were inappropriate for her age. Implying that the Democratic party promoted the normalization of such practices, Gaethje re-reiterated his support for Trump:
"You are one sick piece of sh** @djenvy. This is the life they want for all of us. He loves Kamala Harris. If you vote with them then you are one dumb son of a b**** or one sick son of a b****. Either way, I will never be on your team. Putting your daughter in this position is some vile stuff #Trump2024Vance #Trump2024"
The United States presidential elections are scheduled for Nov. 5. The Republican candidate Donald Trump and the Democratic party's Kamala Harris will go toe-to-toe with the winner serving as the nation's president for four years.
