Russian standout Murad Ramazanov is less than a week away from the biggest fight of his mixed martial arts career. The undefeated grappler has been tasked with welcoming former two-division KSW champion, Roberto Soldic, to the circle at ONE on Prime Video 5.

The event is live and free for North American fans with a Prime Video subscription.

With a victory, Ramazanov will likely find himself the next man in line for a welterweight world title opportunity against newly-crowned welterweight world champion Christian Lee.

In an interview with ONE, Ramazanov credited much of his success in life to his parents, who put him on the right track early and taught him to respect others:

“I was a naughty, slightly cocky child, and my parents let me get away with quite a lot. But my parents gave me a good foundation in life. I understood early in life what was good and what was bad; they taught me to treat others with respect. Maybe because I was born when my parents were more mature, they had more experience and more patience to deal with me.”

Murad Ramazanov and Roberto Soldic will open Friday’s highly-anticipated ONE on Prime Video 5 main card. From there, the promotion will treat fans to three incredible world title fights, including the return of Allycia Hellen Rodrigues.

After more than two years away from competing, Rodrigues will attempt to unify the ONE atomweight Muay Thai world championship against interim queen Janet Todd.

Roberto Soldic’s path to “all the belts” starts with Murad Ramazanov

When Roberto Soldic announced his move to ONE Championship, it was so that he could stay active and test his skills across multiple sports, taking “all the belts” in the process. During his appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Soldic said:

“I want to make something different. I’ll give my best to take all belts from combat sports and this opportunity [of fighting in ONE], how [can] I say no? This is impossible. Maybe if I go to other organizations, I [have to] wait one year to fight. This is a problem for me. I wanna stay active.”

Before he can take all the belts, he’ll first need to take the ‘O’ of undefeated Russian Murad Ramazanov. Doing so will likely earn him a date with newly-crowned ONE welterweight champion Christian Lee.

Will Roberto Soldic deliver big on his promotional debut on December 2 or will Murad Ramazanov stop the Croatian’s hype train before it even pulls out of the station?
