Murad Ramazanov is thankful he was able to grow up without many of the distractions that children today have, including mobile devices and social media.

Sharing details of his childhood with ONE Championship, Ramazanov said:

“We lived 20 minutes away from the sea and half an hour from the mountains, which meant we had an active lifestyle. We spent time outdoors. I used to play outside with friends, we had sleepovers, played soccer, watched movies, sometimes we fought.”

Ramazanov continued, saying:

“I used to wrestle in the streets with other boys. It was normal. I am happy that I had a childhood without a mobile phone, without social networks, but with a lot of face-to-face communication and fun.”

Children of the ’80s and ’90s can likely relate to Murad Ramazanov’s feelings. Today’s youth have grown up with a vast array of connected devices, causing screen times to skyrocket while face-to-face contacthas increasingly becomes a thing of the past. Of course, there is one place where face-to-face contact cannot be avoided, and that is in the ONE circle.

In less than one week’s time, Murad Ramazanov will find himself inside the circle once again, gunning for his 12th straight career win. Standing in his way will be ONE Championship debutant Roberto Soldic. The two warriors will square off as part of a stacked ONE on Prime Video 5 card on Friday, December 2.

All the action from the event will be broadcast live and for free on Amazon Prime Video for all its subscribers in North America.

Roberto Soldic says he is healthy and ready to meet Murad Ramazanov at ONE on Prime Video 5

Since the moment he announced his decision to sign with ONE Championship, fans have been chomping at the bit to see Roberto Soldic make his first appearance inside the circle. The wait is almost over. ‘Robocop’ will kick off the ONE on Prime Video 5 main card this Friday night against undefeated Russian Murad Ramazanov.

Mere days away from making his ONE debut, Soldic told The MMA Superfan that he is feeling healthy ahead of the highly-anticipated contest and hopes to stay that way up until the moment he enters the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila:

"I'm really, really ready for this. The most important thing is that I'm healthy. I don't have any injuries. For now, it's very good and I hope that will stay until my fight."

With a ONE welterweight world title fight on the line, the pressure of the moment has certainly turned up, but it’s nothing Roberto Soldic can’t handle. He continued by saying:

"This is also more pressure than normal but I handle it well. I don't have any problems with that. I stay grounded, trying to be humble all the time with the guys, with the sparring partners, with my family, with my friends."
