Nate Diaz has some choice words for a UFC veteran who recently praised Dana White's Power Slap League.

Dana White's Power Slap League has received mixed reviews from fans and UFC fighters alike. While some are on board with the concept, others find it too hazardous for the health of the fighters and believe they are not getting paid enough to sustain direct blows to the head in every fight.

Interestingly, in a recent interview appearance, UFC light heavyweight Anthony Smith stated that he "cannot get enough" of the Power Slap League.

Nate Diaz, who is a part of the camp that has criticized the new sport vehemently, recently took to Twitter to call out Smith for his comments :

"Anthony smith is a dumbf**k"

Take a look at the tweet:

Anthony Smith is a former light heavyweight title contender best known for his fight with former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Nate Diaz, who is famous for slapping fighters in the ring, ironically is not a big fan of the Power Slap League because of the threats to the health of the fighters participating in it. He has been very vocal about his distaste for the league and the new sport.

Anthony Smith, on the other hand, is a big fan of the sport and spoke extensively while on MMA on Sirius XM about how the sport has captured him. He was at the pilot event and got to meet the athletes, which is why he found a certain connection with the sport.

Reportedly, Jake Paul has offered Diaz a two-fight deal, one MMA fight and one boxing fight six months apart. However, the former UFC fighter has not responded to the deal.

Amidst all this, Golden Boy Promotions Founder and Chairman Oscar De La Hoya tweeted out saying:

"@NateDiaz209 bro if your free let me take care of your future negotiations so all these fake promoters who never put a glove on in their life take advantage of you."

Take a look at the tweet:

It will be interesting to see the trajectory Nate Diaz's career takes in the coming years. A veteran of the sport of MMA and one of the most beloved stars of the sport, Diaz will undoubtedly be a solid addition to any roster.
