Team Lakay member ‘The Juggernaut’ Jeremy Pacatiw returned to the circle on Saturday at ONE 164 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila. The bantamweight standout looked to get back into the win column against Kill Cliff FC product ‘The Dragon Leg’ Tial Thang.

Pacatiw showed off his speed early, quickly closing the distance and firing shots. As a result, Thang forced the clinch and dragged Pacatiw to the canvas but was forced to escape an armbar attempt from his opponent. From there, the two fighters were more than happy to stand and throw heavy leather throughout the remainder of the opening round.

Picking up right where they left off in the first, Jeremy Pacatiw and Tial Thang came out swinging wildly in the second round. Pacatiw put pressure on Thang, prompting him to shoot for a takedown, but it was Pacatiw who ended up in a more favorable position. Pacatiw attempted to take Thang’s back in the scramble but found himself at the bottom. However, during the transition, ‘The Juggernaut’ was able to lock in a triangle on Thang.

Thang attempted to fight out of the hold but to no avail. ‘The Dragon Leg’ had no choice but to tap out just over a minute into the second round.

Official Result: Jeremy Pacatiw def. Tial Thang via submission (triangle choke) at 1:17 of Round 1.
