ONE Fight Night 32 preview and prediction: Nakrob vs. Jaosuayai

ONE Fight Night 32's headlining match could have massive implications on the stacked flyweight Muay Thai division. Nakrob Fairtex will take on the surging Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi in a flyweight Muay Thai showdown in the card's main event on Friday, US primetime, at the historic Lumpinee Stadium.

Both fighters have momentum on their side heading into their Bangkok duel in what will inevitably feature an absolute barnburner between two of Thailand's fastest-rising stars.

Nakrob is the fifth-ranked contender in the stacked flyweight Muay Thai division, and Jaosuayai wants nothing more than to take that spot for himself in ONE Fight Night 32's curtain closer.

The Fairtex Training Center affiliate is on a solid run of form, having won six of his past seven fights in ONE Championship.

Nakrob chalked up valuable wins over Dedduanglek, twice, Pettonglor, Muangthai, Tagir Khalilov, and Puenglang during that span. Jaosuayai, meanwhile, has won five of his last six matches, and is on a four-fight winning streak heading into ONE Fight Night 32.

The 23-year-old racked up consecutive wins over Puengluang, Suriyanlek, Yodlekpet, and Denis Puric. His second-round knockout win over Puric has been the biggest victory of his career so far, and the one that propelled him into his main event spot on Friday.

A win for Nakrob could see him overtake old tormentor Kongthoranee Sor Sommai in the flyweight Muay Thai standings. Jaosuayai, meanwhile, could knock Nakrob out of the division's top five if he overcomes his test in Bangkok.

Prediction: Jaosuayai beats Nakrob via unanimous decision at ONE Fight Night 32

With both fighters using different styles, it wouldn't be a farfetch'd idea to predict that Jaosuayai would claim victory at ONE Fight Night 32.

Nakrob is a pure brawler with an unrelenting pace and strong physical fortitude, but he could be subjected to Jaosuayai's crisp counters if he gets too aggressive on offense.

Jaosuayai uses a Muay Femur style similar to Superlek Kiatmoo9's approach, and has shown glimpses of his stone-cold style in his four-fight winning streak.

Nakrob should overwhelm Jaosuayai in their matchup if he wants to secure the win, but it would be a tough task for the fifth-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender to pull of such a gamble.

This fight won't be ending in a knockout, but I see Jaosuayai playing off his angles to land heavy shots upstairs against Nakrob for the unanimous decision win.
