Colombian striking star Johan Estupinan was back in action on Friday evening at ONE Fight Night 32, as he fought the returning Japanese contender Taiki Naito in a crucial flyweight Muay Thai scrap inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Estupinan aimed to extend his perfect run in ONE Championship and claim his sixth win, while Naito looked to snap his two-fight skid and return to the winner's column since his last victory in March 2024.

Round 1: Estupinan opened with a flying kick that barely missed Naito's head. Estupinan then took the center of the ring, but he gladly accepted with his counterattacking game. Estupinan continued to produce aerial attacks, but Naito was unbothered by them and was more precise in his strikes.

To disrupt his rhythm, Naito sent Estupinan down the ground with two front kicks. Estupinan continued to press forward but was constantly countered by Naito. In the tail end of the opening round, Estupinan landed massive punches that stunned Naito, but the Japanese survived it to end the round.

Round 2: Estupinan opened with another flying kick in the second stanza and pressed him immediately against the rope. But Naito attacked Estupinan's leg. Early in the round, Naito sat Estupinan with a massive left hook counter to score the first knockdown in the match.

Naito landed another massive punch that almost knocked down Estupinan again. Estupinan's flying attacks were cut significantly, and Naito seemed to be more comfortable throwing his hands and kicks, which most of the time landed effectively.

Round 3: Estupinan became more aggressive in the third round, knowing that he's behind the judges' scorecards, but Naito weathered it very well by evading and countering them. Naito also continued chopping down the legs of Estupinan to slow his offense.

'Panda Kick' constantly pressed Naito against the ropes and corner, but he still couldn't find the knockout blow he was looking for as Naito dodged them pretty well. In the last seconds of the match, Estupinan tried to go for the knockout but never found the finishing blow.
