ONE Friday Fights 112 results and recap: Abdallah Ondash's destructive left hook obliterates Singdomthong in round one

Lebanese striking wizard Abdallah Ondash's left hook has flattened numerous opponents in the past, and this was the case once more in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 112. The Tiger Muay Thai striker sent the sold-out crowd inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, into a frenzy with a jaw-dropping knockout of hometown favorite Singdomthong Nokjeanladkrabang in their 127-pound Muay Thai contest.

Ondash wasted no time charging up his trademark weapon when the bell rang. The 23-year-old, elder brother to fellow ONE Friday Fights standout Ramadan, got things going with heavy low kicks and jabs.

When Singdomthong took the bait and stayed more alert to Ondash's weapons downstairs, the young gun fired away with a salvo of shots and a left hook that left him against the ropes.

Credit where it's due, the Thai showed heart and responded well. However, just as he got crafty and attempted to sling a body kick to halt oncoming traffic, Ondash countered with another big left hook that brought proceedings to an end at 2:02 of the opening stanza.

As a result, he moved to 22-2 overall and 6-1 in ONE Championship.

Other "Art of Eight Limbs" specialists who emerged victorious at ONE Friday Fights 112 were Thway Lin Htet, Payaksurin JP Power, Samanchai Sor Sommai, Tahaneak Nayokatasala, Khunpon Aekmuangnon, Khunponnoi Sor Sommai, Enzo Clarisse, and Saw Min Min.

Elsewhere, in the night's lone kickboxing tussle, Hiroki Naruo overcame Zhang Haiyang with a brilliant TKO in the first round of their 139-pound duel. The 22-year-old Kyudo Kaikan representative floored his foe thrice to end his night with a third successive finish at ONE Friday Fights.

The pair of MMA showdowns that opened the show were just as entertaining, too.

Yin Xiangzhao and Trong Vinh Mui's flyweight fight gave fans a back-and-forth war. After an intense 15 minutes, the former left the Mecca of Muay Thai with a unanimous decision triumph.

Kasim Magomedshapiev, meanwhile, demolished Japanese upstart Hidenari Saijo in 33 seconds to stay perfect in his career at 6-0. The win also allowed him to maintain his 100 percent finishing rate.
