The bonuses came flowing in the all-striking portions of ONE Friday Fights 3 on February 3 inside the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The third installment of ONE’s weekly shows in Lumpinee featured seven Muay Thai bouts and the first-ever kickboxing match in the arena’s rich history.
In the main event, Petsukumvit Boi Bangna outclassed fellow Thai fighter Chorfah Tor.Sangtiennoi in three rounds of high-octane flyweight Muay Thai action.
Petsukumvit set the tone for the fight early by scoring a quick knockdown with his piercing jabs.
It became a battle of attrition in rounds 2 and 3, as both fighters scored with punches and elbows from close distance.
Once the dust settled, the judges deemed Petsukumvit the victor by unanimous decision. The 24-year-old improved his win-loss slate to 61-26.
Elsewhere, Elbrus Amirkhanovich showed Lumpinee fans the beauty of kickboxing with an early Knockout of the Year contender.
The Russian destroyer crushed Paedsanlek PK.Saenchai with a beautiful spinning back kick midway into round 1.
‘Samurai’, who kept his pristine 7-0 record intact, deservingly took home a US$10,000 from ONE Chairman Chatri Sityodtong.
Meanwhile, Kongchai Chanaidonmeuang shook the promotion’s strawweight Muay Thai division with an emphatic one-round beatdown of Kritpetch PK.Saenchai.
After absorbing Kritpetch’s best shots, the former Rajadamnern Muay Thai World Champion roared back with a beautiful left-body kick.
Kritchpetch crumbled in pain soon after, as Kongchai hit him with follow-up shots before the referee put an end to the fight.
The sensational knockouts did not end there, as Ilyas Musaev registered a statement victory against Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree in the most emphatic way possible.
After getting his groove in the first three minutes, the Russian mauler unloaded a brutal right hook counter in round 2 that ended Panrit’s night.
