ONE Championship electrified the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur with ONE on Prime Video 3: Lineker vs. Andrade. The event marked ONE Championship's return to Malaysia following the COVID-19 pandemic. Safe to say, the fans were treated to a night of exciting showdowns and finishes.

Unfortunately, the main event skirmish between former ONE bantamweight world champion John ‘Hands of Stone’ Lineker and Fabricio ‘Wonder Boy’ Andrade ended in controversy after Andrade landed an accidental illegal groin strike in round three.

In the main event of ONE on Prime Video 3 the action was intense for as long as it lasted, with both men having their moments. Lineker connected with his vaunted ‘Hands of Stone’ in round two, rocking Andrade and nearly flooring the 25-year-old. Meanwhile, ‘Wonder Boy’ pieced up the veteran and had his right eye completely shut by the third.

After a knee to the midsection that connected for Andrade and had Lineker reeling, the younger fighter moved in for another knee which landed south of the border. With Lineker falling to the mat, writhing in obvious pain, the former champ was given five minutes to recover. Since he could not continue the bout was deemed a no contest.

Dutch-Surinamese fighter Regian Eersel and Thailand’s Sinsamut Klinmee went the five-round distance in the co-main event of ONE on Prime Video 3. The showdown was an incredibly close battle that went down to the wire.

Sinsamut proved very tough, and displayed an iron chin as he took Eersel’s best shots. But the reigning ONE lightweight kickboxing world champion was just too much for the Thai rising star.

In the end, Eersel put on a more efficient striking display to capture the inaugural ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title and become a two-sport ONE world champion.

19-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu phenom Kade Ruotolo continued to make history by adding the inaugural ONE lightweight submission grappling world title to his collection after becoming the youngest fighter ever to win gold at ADCC this year.

The teenage phenom outgrappled sambo world champion Uali Kurzhev, winning via heel hook at 4:26 of the single 10-minute round. The performance also earned Ruotolo a US $50,000 bonus.

Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong and Mohammed Batousaa put on a show for fans as they traded leather in the center of the circle for three full rounds. It was a back-and-forth battle from start to finish, as both men looked for opportunities to land vicious combinations at every opportunity.

With a sense of urgency heading into the final round, Sitthichai put a stamp on his performance with flurries, which was enough to earn him the decision win on the judges’ scorecards.

Shamil ‘The Cobra’ Gasanov made a spectacular promotional debut in his appearance on ONE on Prime Video 3. Gasanov finished No.2-ranked featherweight Kim Jae Woong in the very first round with a rear-naked choke.

The Russian went to work early, closing the distance with Kim while looking to grapple. After a brief grappling exchange, Gasanov was able to take Kim’s back and lock in the submission to force the tap.

The official finish came in at 2:09 of round one, and Gasanov earned a US $50,000 bonus for his performance. In his post-fight interview, ‘The Cobra’ called out Tang Kai, Garry Tonon and put the rest of the featherweight division on notice.
