Lowen Tynanes and Dae Sung Park got things started at ONE on Prime Video 5, opening up the main card on Friday night. Emanating from the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, the two lightweight standouts were determined to get back into the win column after coming up short in their previous outings.

In the early going, Park worked to establish his kicks, leading off with a high left kick followed by a series of calf kicks against Tynanes. Struggling to close the distance, Tynanes bull rushed Park near the halfway point of the opening round and immediately took to the mat, taking his back in the process. Park defended well but was unable to significantly improve his position before the end of the round.

The two fighters came out taunting one another in the second, but the action was sparse with Park keeping distance with kicks while Tynanes continued to look for an opportunity to shoot in for a takedown.

With less than a minute to go, an incidental headbutt busted open Lowen Tynanes briefly halting the action. The cageside physician allowed the fight to continue and Tynanes finished the second with a takedown and taking Park’s back.

In the third and final round, Lowen Tynanes was able to secure a quick takedown and took Park’s back for the third time, holding him in position for the majority of the round to secure a unanimous decision victory in the main card opener.
