Three-division MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin is confident that his incredible 100 percent career finishing rate will continue in less than 24 hours. 'Sladkiy' will meet rampaging challenger 'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane in the main event of ONE 169 on Nov. 8.
The victor of this clash of the titans will leave Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand as the undisputed heavyweight MMA world champion.
Speaking with Nick Atkin of The Bangkok Post during the pre-event festivities, Malykhin said it's all systems go for his first heavyweight MMA world championship defense.
“I feel great. I am going to knock out my opponent. I've been eating well, sleeping well, and enjoying my preparation for the night.”
Moreover, the Russian annihilator also left a warning shot for his Senegalese foe. The three-weight king guaranteed 'Reug Reug' won't even make it past the opening round, adding:
“Most importantly, as long as his jaw allows him to even fight one round. Hey, ‘Reug Reug’, one shot. Headshot.”
The undefeated Malykhin is truly a force of nature, with 14 finishes in as many career victories. The 36-year-old has openly expressed his disdain for Kane in the lead-up to this war and certainly can't wait to throw down at ONE 169.

Anatoly Malykhin doubts 'Reug Reug' can handle his power
So far, nobody has managed to weather the onslaught that Anatoly Malykhin brings. The triple champ is a harbinger of destruction, and he doesn't see 'Reug Reug' as much of a threat.
In an interview with ONE, the Kemerovo Russia native said the Senegalese warrior will soon realize he has no business sharing the ring with him.
"I’m sure that after two or three of my punches, he’ll want to hug me, run towards me, try to take me down. But my defense is strong, I won’t let him, and I’ll just break him down."
