MMA fans voiced their thoughts after witnessing Alexander Volkanovski's snaps in his recent Instagram post. 'The Great' was seen engaging himself in cardio exercises to burn some weight.

Volkanovski has been going through a rough patch in his career for the last two years. The Australian endured the first defeat of his UFC career at UFC 284 against Islam Makhachev in February 2023. But it also marked the beginning of Volkanovski's struggling days as he lost two out of his three following encounters.

After another failed attempt against Makhachev at UFC 294, Volkanovski also lost his UFC featherweight gold to Ilia Topuria at UFC 298. However, his latest Instagram post indicated that he might be looking to get back in fight shape once more. The caption to it read:

"Burning some rubber through the Goldy 🏃"

Alexander Volkanovski recently copied a famous Alex Pereira expression

The UFC light heavyweight champion, Alex Pereira, is hailed by fans for his stoic nature. Pereira is known for staying unfazed in situations where most others would've spooked out. One of his X updates showcased him sitting expressionless on a rollercoaster ride while all others, including his two sons, went crazy.

Volkanovski recently recreated the same moment. One of 'The Great's' latest Instagram posts showcased how he maintained a Pereira-like composure during one of his roller coaster rides, creating a parody of the moment. Volkanovski penned:
