Post-UFC Macau rankings update sees only one significant change and it does not involve the ex-champion headliners

After last weekend's entertaining UFC Macau event, the promotion has updated its official fighter rankings. Intriguingly, neither of the headliners saw any upward shift in their ranks in the bantamweight division.

In the main event, Petr Yan defeated Deiveson Figueiredo via unanimous decision in an exciting five-round bantamweight affair. However, Yan stayed put at the No.3 spot while the Brazilian remained at No.5 after his loss.

In the co-main event, Yan Xiaonan defeated Tabatha Ricci via unanimous decision in a women's strawweight bout. Once again, Xiaonan stayed put at the No.2 spot while Ricci remained in the No.10 slot.

While the main and co-main event fighters saw no movement in the rankings, Carlos Ulberg's statement unanimous decision victory over Volkan Oezdemir saw him get a boost up from his No.10 rank to the No.7 slot in the light heavyweight rankings. Meanwhile, Oezdemir slipped from No.8 to the No.9 spot.

UFC Macau bonus prizes: Four fighters win $50k bonus prizes after three KOs and one submission

In the aftermath of the UFC Macau event, four fighters took home monetary prizes for their performance. In the prelims, Shi Ming impressed fans with her stunning head-kick knockout victory over Feng Xiaonan, which earned her a $50,000 'Performance of the Night' (POTN) award.

Later, Zhang Mingyang took on Ozzy Diaz in a 205-pound contest and secured a first-round TKO finish. Mingyang's incredible showing also earned him a $50,000 POTN bonus. Two fights later, Gabriella Fernandes secured the only submission of the night over Wang Cong with a second-round rear-naked-choke. Her finish also got a POTN nod from the promotion.

In the next fight, Muslim Salikhov defeated Song Kenan with a thunderous first-round spinning wheel kick KO and pocketed a $50,000 cheque. While four fighters got a POTN bonus, the UFC Macau event notably saw no 'Fight of the Night' bonus.
