Roberto Soldic has high hopes that things will be different when Anatoly Malykhin clashes with Reinier de Ridder at ONE on Prime Video 5 this Friday, December 2.

The highly-anticipated light heavyweight showdown between defending world champion Reinier de Ridder and heavyweight challenger Anatoly Malkyhin will be another one for the history books.

With the fight on the horizon, Roberto Soldic, who will also appear on the stacked card via Amazon Prime Video, has offered his predictions about the explosive world title matchup. He told The MMA Superfan:

“Very good game but this Russian guy, Anatoly Malykhin, I think he's a little bit stronger. I think this fight is going to be different. If it goes down, this is going to be a big problem for Anatoly because I know De Ridder can submit everyone.”

Readily available to fight anyone, Anatoly Malykhin is stoked for the opportunity to take a stab at legendary jiu-jitsu specialist Reinier de Ridder at ONE on Prime Video 5. As Soldic claimed before, the Russian powerhouse might be stronger than de Ridder in terms of his boxing skills.

Over recent months, Malykhin has improved his striking game and if everything goes according to plan, he has the potential to obliterate de Ridder’s perfect record of 16-0.

However, looks can be deceiving. Reinier de Ridder is the lankier out of the two but has great conditioning, upper body strength, and an innate ability to set takedowns without breaking a sweat. It’s going to be a grueling matchup to say the least, but one that fans would happily pay good money to watch.

ONE on Prime Video 5: de Ridder vs. Malykhin broadcasts live on Friday, December 2, and is free for fans in the United States and Canada with an Amazon Prime subscription.

Roberto Soldic believes experience will be key in defeating Murad Ramazanov at ONE on Prime Video 5

Roberto Soldic believes his fighting experience will be key in defeating Dagestani wrestler Murad Ramazanov on December 2.

As a former KSW middleweight and welterweight world champion, Soldic has come across some of the toughest names in Europe. Experienced in fighting opponents with a whole array of different backgrounds and specializations, ‘Robocop’ thinks Ramazanov won’t offer anything that he hasn’t seen before.

He told ONE Championship:

“I think I have more experience than him, and I’ve had the tougher fights. I had better opponents. But I never had underestimate anyone. I respect him a lot, but I can say that he’s never faced anybody like me. I’m something different. I’m southpaw. I’m a very dangerous guy.”
