Croatian sensation Roberto Soldic is looking to show what the hype around him is all about when he returns for a do-over of his ONE Championship debut in May in the United States.

'Robocop' will battle former ONE welterweight world champion Zebaztian Kadestam on May 5 in Colorado at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video. The contest is a reintroduction of Roberto Soldic in ONE. His initial outing in December saw him unable to continue after being struck with an accidental knee in the groin by opponent Murad Ramazanov in the opening round.

It was an unfortunate ending for the celebrated European mixed martial arts fighter, who was looking to make a notable debut with ONE after coming on board with much anticipation last year.

For his return at ONE Fight Night 10, Roberto Soldic is hard at work in training with solid results. He recently posted a video on Instagram where he is looking fast and sharp, captioning it with:

“Great training today🥇🇺🇸 #onefightnight10 @onechampionship”

'Robocop' was a two-division KSW champion and a sought-after free agent before landing in ONE Championship.

ONE Fight Night 10 will be the promotion’s first-ever live on-ground event in the United States, happening at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado. It will be aired live and for free to all North American fans with an active Prime Video subscription.

“I see how happy the fighters are” - Roberto Soldic on choosing ONE Championship as his new home

Former two-division KSW champion Roberto Soldic was a sought-after free agent last year but eventually signed with ONE Championship. In choosing the promotion, 'Robocop' underscored how he saw more opportunities for him in ONE and the great camaraderie present within the organization.

Roberto Soldic shared this in an interview with The MMA Hour last year after he signed with ONE, saying:

“When I finished the KSW contract, I had so many [offers], including UFC, ONE Championship, and I choose ONE Championship for sure because it’s the biggest martial arts [organization] in the world. They give me opportunity to take all the belts - kickboxing world champion, Muay Thai world champion, MMA world champion, also boxing world champion. I want to create something for my people, my own legacy, so I chose ONE Championship, for sure.”

He added:

“I went to Singapore and when I saw all atmosphere with [ONE Championship CEO] Chatri [Sityodtong] and how he treated the fighters, the relationship, and he gave me the best offer. He said to me, ‘You can be a unique fighter and I will give you all the chances to take different belts from all sports.' So finally, this is the day I took ONE Championship and I see how happy the fighters are, some really good fighters.”
