In the main event, champion Robson Conceicao attempted his first WBC super featherweight title defense against O'Shaquie Foster in a rematch. Conceicao defeated Foster by a controversial split decision to win the title in June.

Both men showed urgency and met in the center. Conceicao appeared to be landing more frequently while Foster tried to get away with combinations but fell short of landing on many occasions. As the champion appeared to have won the early rounds, albeit by a narrow margin, Foster gave a strong response and made it more competitive in the middle rounds.

While the champion made a comeback in the later rounds, the uber-competitive fight resulted in a split-decision victory for Foster, making him the two-time WBC super featherweight champion.

Undefeated prospect Raymond Muratalla took a major step up in competition as he took on veteran fighter Jesus Antonio Perez in the co-main event. Muratalla, who had a proven finishing ability (21-0, 16 KO), had the momentum on his side as Perez was 2-3 in his last five fights.

Muratalla stepped up to the occasion and scored a statement victory, stinging Perez with punishing blows right from the opening bell. Perez reacted heavily to Muratalla's moves and got stung repeatedly for this.

The domination continued as Muratalla dropped Perez twice in Round 2, prompting the referee to stop the action. This was the 17th TKO win of Muratalla's professional boxing career.

Robson Conceicao vs. O'Shaquie Foster: Undercard results

Mike Ohan Jr., who's built a reputation for his readiness to take fights unconditionally, returned to competition against Bryce Mills. Coming off a TKO defeat against highly touted Abdullah Mason, Ohan Jr. needed a win to get the momentum back on his side.

Known for his aggressive and pressure-heavy fighting style, Mills took control of the fight and steadily broke down his opponent. Ohan Jr. had no answer to Mills' versatile attacks and struggled to find his footing.

After tasting success with a few uppercuts in Round 5, Ohan Jr. could not build momentum as the round progressed and got stung with vicious blows in the closing moments. His corner stopped the fight after the round and Mills was declared the winner by T/KO.

Super featherweight contenders Abraham Nova and Humberto Galindo fought on the main card to get back in the win column. Heading into the recent fight, Nova was on a two-fight skid, one of them being a split-decision defeat against O'Shaquie Foster in a WBC title fight. Meanwhile, Galindo was coming off a majority draw against Oscar Bravo. He suffered back-to-back losses before that.

In the fight, both men had their moments and tried to stay out of harm's way while landing their own shots. After 10 rounds of action, the judges ruled the closely contested fight a split draw.

Elsewhere, four other undercard bouts resulted in finishes. Jahi Tucker stopped Quilisto Madera in Round 8. Meanwhile, Ali Feliz Orlando and Damian Knyba scored early KOs over Rashad Coulter and Richard Lartey, respectively. Yan Santana defeated Eduardo Baez by fourth-round TKO.
