Bosnian-Canadian striking powerhouse Denis Puric has proved that he belongs among the top contenders in the flyweight division after he pushed Rodtang Jitmuangnon for three full rounds of war on June 7 at ONE 167.
Puric and Rodtang light up the ring inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, and ONE Championship recently reposted the highlights of this back-and-forth action on Instagram:
"Clash of titans 💥 Will Denis Puric bring the same energy when he squares off with Elias Mahmoudi at ONE Fight Night 26 on @primevideo? @bosnian_menace"
The promotion published the best moments and best exchanges of both fighters throughout the three-round match. Despite his strong efforts and gallant stand, 'The Bosnian Menace' still came up short and absorbed a unanimous decision defeat at the hands of 'The Iron Man'.
Puric's performance, though, didn't go to waste, as fans applauded him for a job well done. In particular, users @bjornapeters, @no_dealo, @umanasteve, @abdoughul, and @rogeliocontrerasp sent their appreciation through their comments:
"Everybody in the company frightens me, y'all are intense."
"Legendary fight. Both admirable. Setting the bar."
"Puric is a Legit Savage"
"What a fight that was 😍🔥"
"Now that's a fight!"
Denis Puric believes a win over Elias Mahmoudi at ONE Fight Night 27 will earn him a shot at the vacant belt
With the division having no world titleholder after Rodtang was stripped of the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title earlier this month, Puric thinks that a win over Elias Mahmoudi in their upcoming flyweight Muay Thai match at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6 will earn him an automatic shot for the vacant belt.
Speaking ONE Championship in a recent interview, the Team CSK representative claimed:
"I think he's one of the most dangerous guys in the division. So, I'll beat this guys, and the belt's mine."
North American viewers with an active Prime Video subscription can watch all the action at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6, which emanates from the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
