Denice Zamboanga responded to Ham Seo Hee questioning her upcoming title shot.
At ONE Fight Night 27, Stamp Fairtex's next opponent will be determined by an interim women's atomweight MMA title fight. The participants eligible to secure partial ONE gold are number two-ranked Zamboanga, who's coming off three consecutive wins, and Alyona Rassohyna (1-1 in the promotion).
Not everybody was happy with the matchmaking, as number one-ranked Ham Seo Hee believes she should receive the title opportunity. 'Hamzzang' holds two wins against Zamboanga from 2021 and 2022 but also lost against Stamp last time out.
During an interview with The MMA Superfan, Zamboanga responded to her former opponent's frustrations by saying:
"For me, she already had her chance before with Stamp. I hope she [Ham] realizes that I have been in ONE since 2019 and since 2020, I was given the opportunity for a title shot. She already got her chance and maybe after my fight with Alyona, she can fight whoever wins that match."
ONE Fight Night 27 will take place live from the legendary combat sports venue of Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The Jan. 10, 2025 event featuring two world title fights can be seen live and for free by North American and Canadian viewers with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.

Denice Zamboanga is one win away from showdown with Stamp Fairtex
Earlier this year, Denice Zamboanga was scheduled to challenge her former training partner Stamp Fairtex for the ONE women's atomweight MMA world title. Unfortunately, Stamp suffered a torn meniscus while training, leading to her withdrawing from the matchup and enduring an extended layoff.
Zamboanga has since fought once, defeating Noelle Grandjean by unanimous decision. With a win at ONE Fight Night 27, 'The Menace' would be guaranteed an opportunity to face Stamp in an undisputed world title fight.
Before suffering her injury, Stamp defeated Ham Seo Hee in September 2023 to capture the vacant women's atomweight MMA throne. Heading into 2025, the Thai megastar plans to return to action and re-solidify herself as one of the most talented female MMA fighters on the planet.
