Top five-ranked ONE bantamweight Stephen Loman believes that Fabricio Andrade will benefit from fighting in Thailand more than John Lineker when they step into the circle for their rematch at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video.

The upcoming bantamweight world title rematch is slated to take place at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, which is not far from where 'Wonder Boy' trains. The Brazilian sharpens his tools at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket.

Loman recently spoke to The MMA Superfan about the advantage that Andrade has entering the bout:

"Yes, I think Fabricio Andrade will have some sort of home court advantage in this fight. He’s already used to the weather in Thailand, so he’s already absorbed the condition of the place. He is used to living and training there."

Stephen Loman added:

"He also has the support of the fans and, of course, he’s familiar with the culture. I think it will be a big advantage for him. He’s been living and training there for several years now, every fight he’s setting up his training camp there. I really think that he’s at an advantage during the fight."

Stephen Loman says wrestling is John Lineker's key to success in rematch with Fabricio Andrade

Fabricio Andrade appeared to have the edge on the feet in his first meeting with Lineker, even forcing the former champ to shoot for takedowns. 'The Sniper' believes Lineker's wrestling will be the key to his success, stating:

“Lineker will use his wrestling again. That’s the way I see him taking the fight. He’ll use his wrestling and try to connect with those looping shots. I think that if Andrade uses his footwork to keep distance, Lineker will need to turn up the pressure so he can get within range to throw those hooks.”

'Hands of Stone' is far from a slouch in the striking department though. The former UFC veteran has three knockout victories inside the circle, finishing Kevin Belingon, Troy Worthen, and former longtime champ Bibiano Fernandes.

Make sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 7 on February 24 to watch Fabricio Andrade rematch John Lineker for the vacant bantamweight world title.

As for Stephen Loman, the No. 3-ranked bantamweight is still awaiting his next opponent after beating Bibiano Fernandes last November.
