UFC legend Nate Diaz was spotted earlier this week in Newcastle, England. Suffice it to say fight fans were elated with the surprise encounter.
A video posted on the UFC subreddit shows the Stockton native taking a stroll on the streets of 'The Toon' before surprised fans swarmed him for pictures. In the video, the MMA star can be heard saying that he was in the city to support one of his teammates for an upcoming fight.
The footage shows the 39-year-old waiting in line at the local Greggs store to get a vegan sausage roll.

Nate Diaz game for trilogy fight with Conor McGregor
Ever since Nate Diaz beat Jorge Masvidal in their boxing match, his stock has seen a resurgence. The former MMA star now seems to have his eyes set on unfinished business from the past, a trilogy with Conor McGregor.
Diaz is most famous for his two fights against McGregor. While he submitted the Irishman in their first meeting at UFC 196, he lost a majority decision the second time around at UFC 202.
During a recent appearance on the ALL THE SMOKE podcast, Diaz stated that he'd be game to take on the Irishman in either boxing or MMA:
"I'm offering him [McGregor] the fight. Either way [in boxing or MMA]. Either way is fine. I'd like to like to fight him in MMA... I'd like to fight all these motherf*****s in MMA, but if they can only box, I'll box them too."
