Devin Haney says Gervonta Davis superfight would have to take place at 140 pounds

Fans have called for a superfight between Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney to take place. During a recent appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, 'The Dream' revealed that such a bout would have to take place at 140 pounds, stating:

"140. We'll have to have it at 140. He's fought at 140 before. He beat Mario Barrios at 140. I'm at 140 now. It would make the most sense for it to be at 140. 'Tank' is the type of fighter he says he doesn't care about belts, right? He doesn't fight for belts, he fights for money so he wouldn't care about the belts at 135. He would just want to make the money in fighting me so 140."

Check out Devin Haney's comments on facing Gervonta Davis below:

Haney added that he would fight at 135 pounds for the right money and the right fight. However, it is unclear what bout would bring a better payday than a superfight against Davis, who is one of the biggest stars in the sport.
