'The General' is coming off a first-round knockout loss at the hands of his Thai rival Superlek Kiatmoo9 in their ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title showdown at ONE 168: Denver last Sept. 6 inside the Ball Arena in Colorado.
Despite that setback, Haggerty remains one of the best pure strikers in the world right now because of his insane power and technical skills.
Jonathan Haggerty says that he was warned by his coach of posting a lot of training videos online before Superlek fight
In a recent appearance on the Winners Talking podcast, the London native revealed that his coach warned him about posting too many videos on his training, which Superlek and his team could have capitalized on.
But the Keddles Gym, Knowlesy Academy, and Team Underground representative didn't think of it much, as he stated:
"I think I was putting up a lot of videos on my Instagram before the fight. I think my trainer was telling me that we're putting so much information out. But I was like, nah, it's good. I'm feeling sharp."
