Three-sport ONE Championship star Danial Williams already feels the excitement that former ONE strawweight kickboxing king Jonathan Di Bella and rising star Rui Botelho are set to bring at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6.
Speaking exclusively with Sportskeeda MMA, the Thai-Australian talked about Di Bella and Botelho's strawweight kickboxing bout:
"I think these guys are the top of the chain in their kickboxing division, so it's gonna be a very technical and complete fight. I've been alongside Rui in the same circuit for years, and I always think he's more of a kickboxer, that's where he's better. He's a better kickboxer than a Muay Mat. And Jonathan Di Bella, he's a former world champion. So yeah. Great fight. A good fight."
Williams' enthusiasm is warranted as the Team Di Bella Kickboxing product and Botelho are two of the most exciting strikers in ONE's 125-pound kickboxing division.
With the winner potentially having the chance to fight for 26 pounds of strawweight kickboxing gold in their next fight, fans can expect a barnburner when Di Bella and the Dinamite Team representative clash at ONE Fight Night 26.
Danial Williams will also compete at ONE Fight Night 26
Aside from the high-stakes matchup between Jonathan Di Bella and Rui Botelho, Danial Williams will also figure in a feature fight at ONE Fight Night 26 as he takes on strawweight Muay Thai blue-chipper Thongpoon PK Saenchai.
Williams enters his 125-pound Muay Thai showdown against Thongpoon with a ton of motivation. It will be his first bout in the 'Art of Eight Limbs' under the ONE banner since his April 2021 promotional debut.
ONE Fight Night 26 will occur inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The entire event will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
