Denice Zamboanga is grateful for the support she has and continues to receive from Filipino fight fans.
After years of hard work, dedication, and stacking bodies on martial arts' biggest global stage, 'The Menace' finally climbed to the top of the mount, scoring a destructive second-round TKO against the returning Aloyna Rassohyna at ONE Fight Night 27 to capture the interim ONE atomweight MMA world championship.
Speaking with Nick Atkin of the Bangkok Post immediately following her big win, Zamboanga showed some love to her fans in the Philippines who have followed and supported her since day one.

"I’m so grateful that a lot of Filipino supporters are supporting my career since I started here in ONE Championship," Zamboanga said. "I want to thank them for keeping on supporting me (through) my ups and downs. They know my hard work. Thank you so much to all Filipino fans who keep on supporting me throughout my career."
With the win, Zamboanga has guaranteed herself an opportunity to face the atomweight MMA division's undisputed MMA queen, Stamp Fairtex.
Denice Zamboanga willing to wait for Stamp Fairtex
Stamp vs. Denice Zamboanga has all the making of an instant classic. They are two of the absolute best female fighters on the planet, regardless of division, and are former training partners who still have an immense amount of respect for one another.
Unfortunately, fans will have to stay patient if they hope to see the two ONE world champions collide in a unification clash for the ages.
In June last year, Stamp suffered a torn meniscus while training, forcing her to undergo surgery. Since then, the Thai superstar has been recovering and slowly working her way back, though no anticipated timeline for her return has been announced.
But regardless of how long it takes, 'The Menace' will be waiting with bated breath.
"Definitely Stamp," Zamboanga said when asked what's next. "I'll wait for her."
