No. 4-ranked ONE flyweight Danny Kingad will be watching ONE on Prime Video 4 very closely, as his Team Lakay teammates Stephen Loman and Kevin Belingon will grace the circle in pivotal matchups.

Team Lakay is a very close-knit group of mixed martial artists, making ONE on Prime Video 4 a very important event for the gym.

Stephen Loman, the No. 5-ranked bantamweight, will face former long-time champion Bibiano Fernandes. Meanwhile, ONE veteran Kevin Belingon will look to get back on track against South Korea's Kim Jae Woong.

In a recent interview with ONE, Kingad discussed the importance of the upcoming fights for his Team Lakay teammates. 'The King' said:

"I am excited because our team is going to be in action at the end of the year, starting with Kevin and Stephen. They have tough fights ahead but I believe they will set the tone for us heading into the Manila card. Kevin and Stephen have tough opponents coming up, but I think they will win."

Danny Kingad is still waiting for an opponent

Originally, Kingad was supposed to make his first appearance of 2022 at ONE 164 against Gurdarshan Mangat. However, his opponent withdrew prior to the event.

The 27-year-old last appeared inside the circle in December 2021 against Kairat Akhmetov, a bout he lost via unanimous decision. Afterwards, Kingad told ONE Championship that he learned many lessons from his last outing:

“There are a lot of specific learnings that I can apply now that our match finally happened. I think I’ll go home first and review the game, and study how to defend that level of wrestling and how to take down such opponents. I also really want to adopt some of his techniques.”

Danny Kingad's only losses have come against the division's top three athletes, Demetrious Johnson, Adriano Moraes, and Akhmetov. Since joining ONE in 2016, the Filipino native has amassed an impressive record of 10-3. Kingad is now looking for another opportunity to compete for a world title.

Be on the lookout for an announcement pertaining to Kingad's next opponent, as it's sure to be versus one of the division's top names.
