MMA fans recently reacted after a welterweight's dominant TKO win at the 2024 PFL World Championship. It was an incredible performance that had many in the MMA community heaping praise on him for how great he is.

The welterweight finals saw Shamil Musaev take on Magomed Umalatov for the 2024 PFL welterweight world championship and a $1 million grand prize. Both competitors came into the bout with unbeaten professional records, so there was a lot more at stake as one of them would be tasting defeat for the first time. MMA Junkie posted a clip of Musaev's dominant third-round TKO win, which saw him drop Umalatov with a powerful left hook before finishing him with ground strikes.

What is Shamil Musaev's MMA record?

Shamil Musaev will definitely be a fighter who receives more buzz on the PFL roster, especially with his impressive knockout win to capture the 2024 welterweight world championship.

With his knockout win over Magomed Umalatov, Musaev's professional record improved to 20-0-1. The 30-year-old has also competed at lightweight in the past, so he could have plenty of appealing options should he decide not to compete in the 2025 PFL global season.
