Bokang Masunyane has a goal in his mind when he faces his next opponent, Mansur Malachiev and that is to end the match early.
The South African MMA star knows that his entire life has been about fighting the toughest competitors, and he made peace with that fact ahead of his next appearance at ONE Fight Night 25: Nicolas vs. Eersel II, on Oct. 4.
Furthermore, 'Little Giant' is aware that his wrestling skills might give him an advantage over the Russian contender, and he plans to go all out.
The 30-year-old told ONE Championship what this fight means:
"I've come to an acceptance that this is what I’m doing for a living and this is what I love to do, so I’m going to win with my sword or die with my sword."
He even shared bits of his game plan for Malachiev:
"I’m going to go in hard and look for the finish from the first bell to the end. I know I have the gas tank for it, so now it’s for me to find holes in his game plan to finish mine."
ONE Fight Night 25 will air live in U.S. primetime and free of charge to all Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America.
Bokang Masunyane will also rely on speed and agility against Mansur Malachiev
Aside from being very confident with his wrestling skills, South African fighter Bokang Masunyane will also count on his speed and agility when facing tough Russian Mansur Malachiev.
Ahead of their scheduled showdown at ONE Fight Night 25, 'Little Giant' shared this fact in the same interview with the promotion, where he pointed out that he will exploit his quickness to handle Malachiev's game.
He said:
"I can always take the fight into the deep end. And I feel my speed and agility is going to play a big factor in winning this fight."
Indeed, Bokang Masunyane has been a strong contender since he arrived in 2019 with four wins in five of his matches. Now, he wants to secure another victory in what could be a title eliminator fight against Malachiev.
