Russian striking ace Tagir Khalilov said things fell in place in his preparation for his recent match. He attributed to it to contributing to coming away with a victory.' Samingpri' was a unanimous decision winner over Liao Shixu of China in their catchweight (140 lbs) Muay Thai match at ONE Fight Night 32: Nakrob vs. Jaosuayai on Prime Video on June 6 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
In a post-fight interview with combat sports journalist Nick Atkin, Khalilov shared the condition he was in heading into his showdown against Liao, including how they were able to adjust accordingly to hydration which went a long away in his performance.
The 32-year-old Archangel Michel/Samingpri Muay Thai Gym affiliate said:
"Of course, because when I come, I don’t have to worry about that. Before this, every time we worry about hydration, and it makes us nervous. It’s not good for us because we’re here to fight. But this time it was easy for me. It was no worries for me."

At ONE Fight Night 32, Tagir Khalilov had his struggles in the opening round against Liao, who used his height and reach advantage. When he was able to adjust in the second round, he picked things up and took the fight to Liao with a lot of effectiveness on his way to getting the nod of all of the judges.

The win at ONE Fight Night 32 halted a two-fight slide for Tagir Khalilov. It is something that he truly basked in considering it was seemingly an eternity since his last victory.
He spoke about it in the same conversation he had with Nick Atkin, sharing:
"Yes, hello everyone. My feeling was great because I missed this feeling, you know. Really missed the feeling."
His previous victory came in November 2023 by split decision over Thai Yodlekpet Or Atchariya. He then lost both of his matches in 2024 against flyweight contenders Nakrob Fairtex and Kongthoranee Sor Sommai.
