ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion Kade Ruotolo is hoping to keep his undefeated MMA record spotless throughout the following year.
Ruotolo shared his goal for 2025 with combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani on The Ariel Helwani Show, saying:
"Just undefeated in MMA. That's the main thing. I just want to keep the fights coming and I just want to keep knocking them down. That's my goal. I've said it before in past interviews, in the most humble way possible, I'm very mentally strong."
He continued:
"Ask me how do you think you do against a guy that has the belt now on whatever platform at my weight, I truly believe I would finish him. It's just what I believe, all humbleness, it's what I honestly believe. My goal is to just keep knocking them down 'til we get there, really. So that's what next year's gonna be all about."

While it is an attainable goal for the 21-year-old, he will first need to overcome Ahmed Mujtaba's excellent striking abilities at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Friday, Nov. 8, inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Speaking with MMA Junkie, the Atos product mentioned:
"I want to gain the experience in the [circle] and that way when, you know, down the line when I'm fighting for the belt and I'm in a real war, I'd already been through some of those scraps for sure."
