The fourth victory of former Lumpinee and Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai champion Panpayak Jitmuangnon in ONE Championship was an incredible knockout finish against Savvas Michael.
Panpayak scored a second-round knockout victory over the Cypriot star in August 2022 as part of the ONE on Prime Video 1 card, which went down at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The world's largest martial arts organization looked back at his winning moment in the fight with a quick breakdown of the ending sequence, and they posted it on Instagram recently with the caption:
"Absolute finesse 💯 Who's tuning when Panpayak returns to the ONE stage on October 18 at ONE Friday Fights 83? 🔥 @panpayakjitmuangnon"
"The Angel Warrior" displayed his elite fight IQ and power simultaneously when he delivered a lethal combination over 'The Baby Face Killer.' First, he faked a right-hand punch while avoiding a kick, then landed a vicious right hook on the side of Michael's head that clipped him.
Panpayak finished it off with a left roundhouse kick that connected cleanly on Michael's face while he was on the way down. It was the final blow of the bout, and he officially picked up the victory.
Panpayak to make his highly anticipated comeback in ONE Championship on Oct. 18 at ONE Friday Fights 83
After almost two years of sabbatical, the Jitmuangnon Gym representative will make his much-awaited return on the global stage, as he is scheduled to face Silviu Vitez in a flyweight Muay Thai contest on Oct. 18 as part of the ONE Friday Fights 83 card that goes down at the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Panpayak is looking to improve his ONE Championship record to five wins and two losses, thus comeback to the winner's circle after Superlek Kiatmoo9 defeated him in their rematch at ONE 164 in December 2022.
