Daniel Dubois' KO of Anthony Joshua drew vivid reactions from former WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and UFC megastar Conor McGregor. The fight took place on Sept. 21 at Wembley Stadium in London. With the win, Dubois secured the first defense of his IBF heavyweight title.

Joshua was a sizeable -350 betting favorite heading into the contest given his experience of competing against elite boxers in championship fights. However, Dubois thoroughly dominated the contest and dropped the former champion three times before knocking him out in the fifth round.

Speaking about Dubois' performance immediately after the fight, Fury said:

"Fantastic job. He did a very good job. Fair play to the young gun. Everybody wrote him off, you know. Coming here, he was the world champion and everyone chatted like he was a bum. He showed what he's made of and it's good for him."

When asked to share his thoughts on Joshua's loss, Fury said:

"Listen, it's heavyweight boxing. It happens, doesn't it? It happened to me. It can happen to anybody."

Meanwhile, McGregor's reaction to Joshua's KO loss appeared to be that of disbelief and surprise. The Irishman seemed to have a lot of nervous energy and was unable to sit down for the majority of the fight. He was even more engrossed in the finishing sequence, imitating the head movement while shouting instructions from his ringside seat. A loud cry slipped through his mouth and he held his head in disbelief after Dubois landed the kill shot on Joshua.

Check out Conor McGregor's reaction below:

Dubois won the interim IBF heavyweight title by defeating Filip Hrgovic via TKO (doctor's stoppage). He was promoted to full champion in June after undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk vacated the IBF heavyweight title. The win over former two-time heavyweight champion Joshua marks the most significant victory of his professional boxing career by far.
