Former ONE double world champions Martin Nguyen and Aung La N Sang have deep-rooted friendship. The two friends, who always help each other improve, were recently involved in testing their reaction time.

Martin Nguyen picked up a massive victory at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video. 'The Situ-Asian' bested promotional newcomer Leonard Casotti via unanimous decision to earn a much-needed win.

Meanwhile, Aung La N Sang is gearing up for his bout with Fan Rong at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video. The former two-division champ is hoping to extend his winning streak to three with another win this May.

Watch the pair of former champs test their reaction skills below:

Aung La N Sang knows exactly of the struggles that Martin Nguyen is facing

Martin Nguyen was in a must-win situation heading into his match at ONE Fight Night 7—losing three of his prior four bouts. The former featherweight and lightweight world champion answered the bell with a dominant decision victory over Casotti.

'The Burmese Python' had first-hand experience dealing with the pressure that Nguyen faced. Aung La had dropped three out of four prior to his current winning streak. He spoke about the struggles in an interview with ONE, saying:

"That’s one of the aspects that is in mixed martial arts that you might neglect when you’re only sparring boxers... A fight’s a fight. Anything can happen. If Martin can land his right hand, he can knock anybody out too."

Aung La added:

"It’s up and downs. When you get to the top it’s hard to stay at the top. Everybody’s coming after you."

Nguyen may have fallen from the top spot, but he's working hard to get back into title contention in the featherweight division. China's Tang Kai is at the helm of the division after beating Thanh Le last August.

'The Situ-Asian' is slotted as the No. 4 ranked featherweight with Ilya Freymanov, Garry Tonon, and the aforementioned Le ranked ahead of him.

It's been three years since Nguyen lost his featherweight belt, but the 33-year-old continues to be one of the most entertaining fighters on the roster. Nguyen boasts 10 finishes in 12 victories under ONE's banner.
