Current number two-ranked strawweight MMA contender Bokang Masunyane proved that he is not just an elite grappler but also has a one-shot knockout power that can put any contender to sleep.

Masunyane scored a first-round knockout of former ONE strawweight MMA world title challenger Rene Catalan when they fought in December 2020 at ONE: Big Bang.

ONE Championship recently posted the full fight replay of this outstanding finish on Instagram, and wrote its caption with:

'Little Giant' has perfectly set up a beautiful left roundhouse kick straight to the Filipino veteran's head that instantly removed him from his consciousness.

Masunyane used his grappling skills as a decoy and made Catalan think that he would go for a takedown before firing the atomic kick that cleanly landed.

It was his second win under the world's largest martial arts organization and instantly made a threat in the weight class.

Masunyane now sits at a record of four wins in ONE Championship.

Bokang Masunyane looks forward to showcase new weapons in his arsenal against Mansur Malachiev

Currently, Masunyane is riding a two-fight win streak and wants to extend it to three against No. 5-ranked contender Mansur Malachiev on Oct. 4 at ONE Fight Night 25 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Before their match, Masunyane is ready to put out new techniques against the Russian contender. He shared this in a recent interview with ONE Championship:

"This fight I'm really looking for a finish. Mostly by doing my style of fighting. I'm going to be looking out for Mansur, but it's mostly going to be me fighting the way I fight and expressing myself. That's much better than me trying to be according to their style. So I've changed a lot of stuff for this fight, and I'm very excited about it."
