Rodtang ONE Championship: WATCH: Rodtang Jitmuangnon gets into his usual antics in dominant beatdown of Jacob Smith at ONE 169 in Bangkok

Former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon ended 2024 with a dominant performance against British star Jacob Smith in the co-main event of the ONE 169 card last Nov. 8 at the packed Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Aside from flexing his superior skills by landing more precise shots that inflicted damage on Smith, 'The Iron Man' also showed his showmanship throughout the contest.

Because of this, Rodtang was able to entertain the fans in attendance and reminded everyone that he is still one of the most exciting athletes in combat sports history. Eventually, he secured the unanimous decision nod from the judges.

It marked the Thai star's 16th victory under the world's largest martial arts organization and was his second win over Smith, who he previously defeated during their first meeting in May 2022 at ONE 157 with the same result.

Rodtang booked to fight Japanese star Takeru Segawa in a mega fight at ONE 172

The Jitmuangnon Gym representative's highly anticipated super fight with Japanese superstar Takeru Segawa is finally booked by ONE Championship on March 23, 2025, for the main event of the ONE 172 card inside the Saitama Super Arena in Japan.

Rodtang and the 'Natural Born Crusher' will go head to head in a five-round kickboxing contest. Their first initial match in Jan. 2024 was scrapped after Rodtang suffered an injury during the buildup of the fight.

Before this match became official, the two athletes had two face-offs inside the ring, one in September when Takeu defeated Thant Zin and the other last November when Rodtang beat Smith.
