ONE lightweight fighter and MMA superstar Sage Northcutt is a freak athlete among other freak athletes. Just looking at his physique alone will convince you that we're telling the truth. Aside from destroying world-class fighters inside the cage, 'Super' also performs some insane displays of athletic ability just for the fun of it.
From high-flying kicks to acrobatic front flips, Sage Northcutt's Instagram account is filled with his wild athletic feats. It's like he's been built in a lab somewhere.
In a recent video posted by ONE Championship, we saw the 26-year-old phenom perform one of his inhuman displays of physical strength. This time, Northcutt folded a metal frying pan while sporting his trademark boyish smile:

It's safe to say that it's not a good idea to be caught inside Northcutt's vice grip. The ONE lightweight fighter's arms are as powerful as a python's. Escaping out of his body lock clinch or arm choke will be like trying to wiggle out of a boa constrictor's deadly grip. This should be a warning to anyone put in front of Sage Northcutt inside the circle.
After devastating ONE Championship debut, Sage Northcutt says his fighting career is "just getting started"
After signing with the UFC at just 19 years old and compiling a 6-2 record in the promotion, Sage Northcutt made the move to ONE Championship in 2019. However, he didn't fare well in his debut in the Asian martial arts organization. He was brutally knocked out by kickboxing standout Cosmo Alexandre inside one round.
Northcutt suffered several facial fractures, requiring surgery and significant time away from the sport. Despite being on a hiatus for several years now, ‘Super’ is just 26 years old with a lot of potential to become a world champion one day.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Northcutt, who will make his return against Ahmed Mujtaba at ONE Fight Night 10, had this to say about his fighting career:
"Being 26 years old right now, I’m still extremely young, so I’m looking forward to a long and successful career. I feel like I’m just getting started, and I’m still so young that I can have a lot of fights."
There may have been some serious bumps and bruises along the way, but the young MMA star still believes in his limitless potential. Only time will tell if Northcut can earn his first ONE Championship win in a few weeks' time. May 5 can't come any sooner.
