Dagestan's Murad Ramazanov has spent a lifetime in combat sports. The undefeated ONE Championship athlete's professional record goes back to 2014. However, his base in fighting goes much deeper than that.

Murad Ramazanov used to have multiple school wars in which children would battle for supremacy. While speaking to ONE in an interview, the Russian athlete described the scenes:

"There were also fights between schools – nowadays, children can't believe it. Of course, older boys fought, and we came to watch and support them. You could say these were the first unsanctioned fights that I went to."

No matter where the fights were, crowds would turn out. He continued:

"We found out about where and when they were happening without any social media, it was all word of mouth. Winning these fights could make a guy into a superhero."

Sporting a perfect unbeaten 11-0 record, Ramazanov will put it all on the line at ONE on Prime Video 5 on December 2 in Manila. The Dagestani fighter will face former two-division KSW world champion Roberto Soldic, who is making his debut in ONE.

Ramazanov will not allow anyone to stand in his way in his relentless pursuit of ONE gold.

Murad Ramazanov wants a shot at Christian Lee

Reigning ONE welterweight world champion 'The Warrior' Christian Lee will soon have a new top contender. Whoever is victorious between Murad Ramazanov and Roberto Soldic will next likely be fighting for the welterweight crown.

While speaking in an interview with ONE, Ramazanov explained why he deserves a shot at the throne:

“I think I deserved [the world title shot after beating Zebaztian Kadestam], but if the company’s management decided that I needed to smash another guy on the way to the top, it’s okay. I think one more fight and I should be given a title shot.”

ONE on Prime Video 5: De Ridder vs. Malykhin will be broadcast live on Friday, December 2, and is free for fans in the United States and Canada with an Amazon Prime subscription. At this event, Roberto Soldic and Murad Ramazanov will go to war with dreams of ONE gold on their mind.
