Chael Sonnen has come out with big claims, stating he knows what Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDs) LeBron James is taking.
The former UFC fighter is known for his 'out of the world' claims and predictions about combat sports fighters and athletes. While on the Flagrant podcast hosted by Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh, he spoke about the effect of PEDs and claimed to know what drugs the NBA's all-time leading scorer James takes:
"If the world understood what LeBron did....If you know what these performance enhancers did, then you would know why it does matter. We have the same drug guy, I know exactly what he's doing.
"EPO (Erythropoietin) matters, it's the reason LeBron takes it, it matters. EPO increases your red blood cells, which gives you endurance so you can play all game long."
Sonnen claimed that LeBron James uses EPO, a banned substance for NBA athletes. This goes alongside the criticizms that the league faces for their 'soft' anti-doping tests and measures. There has never been a PED controversy in the NBA, which many attribute to the 'lenient' testing of their players.
Chael Sonnen also went on to claim that since he is not competing anymore, he does use PEDs to stay in shape and youthful.

Chael Sonnen reveals the fight that made him the most money in the UFC
Chael Sonnen will always be seen as one of the most talented fighters that never won a title in the UFC. While on the Flagrant podcast, he spoke about everything from Jon Jones' return to the UFC, LeBron James taking PEDs, and he even revealed what fight earned him the most money in the organization, a whopping $8.8 million:
"The most I ever made was eight point eight (million) in one night. I made eight point eight (million) the second time I fought Anderson and I know I just became a scumbag to the audience, I didn't mean to, but they used to post this publicly."
Sonnen went on to talk about how people did not believe him when he told them how much he earned from just this one fight. Chael Sonnen also spoke about how he always wondered how much Anderson Silva ended up making from the fight since he won, although he heard rumors that the Brazilian earned less than him.
