What is Paul Felder's UFC record?

UFC 218: Oliveira v Felder
UFC 218: Charles Oliveira vs. Paul Felder

Paul Felder retired from professional MMA with a UFC record of nine wins and six losses. Felder left the sport with an overall professional MMA record of 17-6. His last fight was against Rafael dos Anjos in 2020.

Despite fighting some of the biggest names in the sport, 'The Irish Dragon' ended his UFC career after suffering back-to-back defeats at the hands of Rafael dos Anjos and Dan Hooker. However, during his 15-fight organizational campaign, Felder managed to score victories against the likes of Edson Barboza and Charles Oliveira.

Paul Felder's best spell in the organization came back in 2017, when he won all of his fights via stoppage. 'The Irish Dragon' fought three times in 2017 against Alex Ricci, Stevie Ray and Charles Oliveira, and none of those went past the second round.

Mike Perry ended the Irishman's impressive run at UFC 226: Miocic vs. Cormier in 2018, but Felder recovered well and went on to win his next two bouts in the organization. The now 38-year-old managed to get the better of James Vick and Edson Barboza before eventually losing back-to-back fights in 2020 and retiring from the sport.

His final outing in the UFC came with a bit of controversy. Felder lost to 'RDA' via split decision, but Chris Lee's scorecard raised eyebrows after the contest. Lee scored the bout 48-47 in favor of Felder, despite both Sal D'Amato and Derek Cleary scoring the contest 50-45 for the Brazilian.

Was Paul Felder unbeaten before joining the UFC?

Before joining the UFC in 2014, Paul Felder was indeed unbeaten in professional MMA. 'The Irish Dragon' was 8-0 when leaving Cage Fury Fighting Championships, where he'd fought six times.

Felder's other two professional MMA bouts, outside of the UFC, were under the banner of Xtreme Fight Events Cage Wars and Pinnacle Fighting Championships. In his debut in the UFC, Paul Felder took on Jason Saggo and won via split decision after three rounds of fighting.

Felder suffered his first defeat in professional MMA when taking on Edson Barboza at UFC on FOX 16 in July 2015. He went on to lose his next bout against Ross Pearson just two months later.
