Adrian Lee is extremely excited about his first event in the United States, and he wants to mark it with another quick finish at the expense of his opponent, ONE newcomer Nico Cornejo, at ONE 168: Denver this weekend.

Indeed, the youngest of the famous Lee family returns to martial arts' biggest platform in a lightweight MMA duel against Colorado's own, but he also knew that he should be very cautious in searching for the finish.

In fact, without undermining Cornejo's skills, he wants to take whatever's available for him to get the victory, and he wants to do it quickly.

Lee told 4 Oz to Freedom in a recent interview about how he predicts the fight would end:

"I see this fight ending with a first-round finish. It could be whatever, KO, TKO, submission. Whatever comes first."

And whatever it is that will end this fight inside Ball Arena, the home of Denver Nuggets, it would be a massive, action-packed clash that no one should miss.

Adrian Lee praised by his opponent Nico Cornejo ahead of their clash at ONE 168

Just like Adrian Lee, hometown hero Nico Cornejo can't stop giving praise to his opposite number before they test their skills inside the Ball Arena at ONE 168: Denver.

The Colorado fighter told ONE Championship in another interview:

"He is a talented kid. I will not take that away from him. I've seen his record. I've seen a couple of his videos, and he does put in the work."

Both of them will each face their firsts when they step into the Circle for their scheduled fight, but it is evident that despite the praises they sang to each other, Lee and Cornejo will still hunt for the quick finish.

Limited tickets to catch the show live in person are still available via Ticketmaster.
