Kayla Harrison's agent and Dominance MMA founder Ali Abdelaziz is known for his Twitter controversies and takes. One such over-the-top claim from Abdelaziz came with regard to Harrison and her incredible run of form.

While Harrison was on her 15-fight unbeaten run, Abdelaziz quoted a tweet from Ben Askren and made an audacious claim. He tweeted that if Harrison's unbeaten run ever comes to an end, he will quit mixed martial arts:

"If she ever lose I will leave Mma she cannot be touched"

A screenshot of the tweet was shared by Spinnin Backfist in light of Kayla Harrison's shock loss against Larissa Pacheco. The lightweight matchup between the two headlined the PFL World Championship 2022.

It was their third meeting with Pacheco having lost both their previous fights, making Harrison the overwhelming favorite for the bout. Despite Harrison being her usual imposing self in the opening three rounds, Pacheco finished strongly by tipping the championship rounds in her favor.

Pacheco earned a unanimous decision victory and inflicted Harrison's first career loss. She also secured the championship and a massive $1 million check to go with it.

Ali Abdelaziz confirms Henry Cejudo will fight Aljamain Sterling for bantamweight title

Ali Abdelaziz has confirmed the return of a former champion from the Dominance MMA roster. Henry Cejudo, former UFC bantamweight and flyweight champion, is set to return to the octagon for the first time since 2020.

Abdelaziz confirmed in an interview with MMA Underground that 'Triple C' will return to the octagon against bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling in a bid to reclaim the title:

"I can't wait for my boy 'Triple C' [Henry Cejudo] to come back. I like Aljo, I consider Aljo a friend. Aljo is fighting Henry Cejudo, it's done. It's done. It's just that the UFC said it's done, he knows it's done. I understand he [Sterling] wants a different fight, but the man [Cejudo] never lost his belt."

Ali Abdelaziz also listed Cejudo's virtues and why he deserves to fight for the title:

"He's a two-time champion, defended both belts, and he left on his own. He didn't leave because he lost or [he got] injured, he just needed time off... I disagree with Aljamain, I think it's a big fight, it's a tougher fight... I already know what's up, he's fighting Henry."
