The UFC will return to London, United Kingdom with the UFC 286 pay-per-view later this weekend. The event, set to be headlined by a welterweight championship bout between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman, is set to go down at the O2 Arena.
This will be the third meeting between Edwards and Usman inside the octagon and their second for the title. The two fought in August last year, when 'Rocky' upset the odds by beating 'The Nigerian Nightmare' via a vicious knockout.
Interestingly, the trilogy bout between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman is the first time in nearly seven years that the company is returning to the United Kingdom with a title bout. The last championship matchup that took place in the United Kingdom was the UFC middleweight championship bout between Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson in 2016.

Both Bisping and Henderson put on a show for the fans in an absolute war that lasted the full five rounds. However, it was Bisping who managed to retain his UFC middleweight championship with a unanimous decision victory to his name.
Leon Edwards believes Kamaru Usman cannot beat him at UFC 286
Going into the trilogy against Kamaru Usman, Leon Edwards is full of confidence. While 'The Nigerian Nightmare' is certainly hungry for redemption, 'Rocky' believes that the former welterweight champion would've made enough changes to beat him come March 18th.
During a recent interview with BT Sport, Edwards spoke about the fight and suggested that he has never lost while fighting in the UK. While claiming to use the crowd as energy, 'Rocky' said:
"Right, for him, the fight was going his way... I can't see him in the space of five-six months now being a totally different fighter, I just can't see it happening... A knockout affects everyone differently. He's right now 35-36 years old, coming off a knockout and fighting the same guy [who] just knocked him out, so let's see how he comes back and how he reacts.
"This will be his first time actually fighting in someone's backyard. This is my home town. I've never lost in the UK. I use the crowd as energy. I just can't see how he goes out there and defeats me, you know."
