UFC 286, headlined by Leon Edwards vs. Kamaru Usman 3 went down at the O2 arena in London on Saturday night.

The crowd rallied strongly behind the Birmingham native, who was a +300 underdog going into his first title defense against Usman. While Edwards' scored a last-round KO win in their previous clash, 'Rocky' was dominated on the ground by 'The Nigerian Nightmare' for the most part.

However, Leon Edwards changed the narrative in the rubber matchup by simply refusing to be taken down. Despite losing a point due to a fence grab in round 3, 'Rocky' went on to emphatically outstrike Usman in the championship rounds to notch a majority decision win.

The co-main event of the night featured perennial lightweight contender Justin Gaethje against a surging Rafael Fiziev. Gaethje resorted to his signature leg kicks early on, which paid dividends as the fight progressed, visibly slowing down 'Ataman'. 'Highlight' was at his violent best in the final round, bloodying up Fiziev's right eye to score a majority decision win and earn 'Fight of the Night' honors.

Welterweight veteran Gunnar Nelson pulled off a slick armbar submission win over Brayn Barberena on the UFC 286 main-card.

UFC women's flyweight veteran Jennifer Maia scored a unanimous decision win, handing up-and-comer Casey O'Neill her first pro loss.

Meanwhile, former middleweight title contender Marvin Vettori scored a unanimous decision win over Roman Dolidze, ending the Georgian prospect's four-fight winning streak.

Homeboy Muhammad Mokaev also scored a spectacular come-from-behind submission win over Jafel Filho on the UFC 286 preliminary card.
