The Joe Rogan Experience recently welcomed JD Vance on episode #2221 of the podcast. During his appearance, the Republican vice presidential nominee took several swings at Kamala Harris, who is the current United States vice president and the Democratic presidential nominee.
Among Vance's criticisms of Harris were an accusation of dishonesty. Not only did he brand her a liar, he even compared her to a toddler while speaking to Rogan, the podcast host. In fact, he compared her to his own child, recounting a recent tale from home to drive home his point.
First, Vance describes the differences between how toddlers and adults lie.
"Toddlers lie in a way that's very different from how everybody else lies, right? So, if you're telling a lie, normally, 'Hey did you do that thing?' You would say, 'No, somebody else did it' or they kind of qualify it a little bit. Let me give you an example. My four-year old, I'm a big baker, you're probably surprised by that, but I'm a big baker. My four-year-old and I are making an Oreo cake a few weeks ago and my four-year old is helping me, he likes to help me out a lot when I bake"
It is then that Vance describes the situation with his four-year-old son, subsequently comparing him to Harris.
"I go to the bathroom and the Oreos that we were supposed to put in the Oreo cake, like crumble them up and put them in the cake, half of them are gone when I get back. So, I'm like, 'Buddy, what happened to the Oreos' And he looks at me and without a hint of irony or shame, he says, 'I didn't eat the Oreos, you did.' So, that's the way that Kamala Harris lies."

Joe Rogan is still open to having Kamala Harris on his podcast
Prior to Donald Trump's appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, reports circulated that Kamala Harris was also interested in appearing as a guest. While that hasn't yet come to pass, Joe Rogan recently spoke on it on X.
"Also, for the record the Harris campaign has not passed on doing the podcast. They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour."
