Murad Ramazanov is an undefeated mixed martial artist with a highly feared ground game. He will welcome Roberto Soldic to ONE Championship as they face off at ONE on Prime Video 5 on December 2.

Murad Ramazanov owes all of his MMA success to his father, who worked with him on developing his wrestling from a young age. In an interview with ONE Championship, the unbeaten Russian explained:

"My dad and I have been close since I was born. When I was little, I always used to say I loved my dad more than my mom. Wrestling brought us even closer."

Ramazanov continued, noting that his father was his biggest supporter:

"He attended all of my workouts, knew my opponents, went to competitions with me, and was my first coach at home. He was not strict: whenever I lost at sparring or a fight, he would just give me the reasons why I lost. He never scolded me."

Murad Ramazanov will be putting his unblemished record on the line when he faces knockout artist Roberto Soldic on December 2. Soldic vacated his two world titles in KSW to compete in ONE Championship.

ONE on Prime Video 5: De Ridder vs. Malykhin broadcasts live on Friday, December 2, and is free for fans in the United States and Canada with an Amazon Prime subscription.

Murad Ramazanov aiming for Christian Lee

Dagestan's Ramazanov is aiming to earn ONE Championship gold against Christian Lee very soon. He believes he already deserves a shot at a world title, but he now has to dispatch Soldic first.

In an interview with ONE, Ramazanov explained:

“I think I deserved [the world title shot after beating Zebaztian Kadestam], but if the company’s management decided that I needed to smash another guy on the way to the top, it’s okay... I think one more fight and I should be given a title shot.”

Two-division world titleholder Lee and ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong have both said that the winner of Murad Ramazanov vs. Roberto Soldic will challenge for the ‘The Warrior’s ONE welterweight world championship.

UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev told ONE in an interview that Lee could end up losing both of his world titles soon to Dagestan's dangerous fighters.

Makhachev said:

“It is not a coincidence that he is champion in two weight divisions, but I think the next two fights in his career will be the hardest for him – Saygid Izagakhmaev and Murad Ramazanov. So, as talented as he is, he might lose his belts very soon, whether he wants it or not.”
