Joe Rogan recently reacted to the preparation Elon Musk has been undergoing for his new role in the U.S. government. After winning the presidential election, Donald Trump appointed Musk to run DOGE, which stands for the Department of Government Efficiency.
The Tesla CEO has been tasked with identifying ways to eliminate and reduce wasteful government spending, and has gone on record to state that he plans to save $2 trillion in his first year on the job. He will officially take up his new role when Donald Trump assumes office.
Recently, he took to X to reveal how he is preparing for the job. According to Musk, he has rewatched the 1999 comedy film 'Office Space', a movie that satirizes the workplace of a 1990s software company. He wrote:
"I rewatched Office Space tonight for the 5th time to prepare for @DOGE!"
Rogan then reacted to Musk's unorthodox preparation during episode #2234 of his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE). The UFC color commentator said:
"Of course he said that. Elon Musk says rewatched Office Space to prepare for DOGE. Of course he did. You f*cking psycho! God, we're so lucky that guy is around."
