Tyson Fury's father slams Deontay Wilder as a "horrible man" after recent comments about 'The Gypsy King'

At this rate, Deontay Wilder's next fight will be with someone in the Fury family.

'The Bronze Bomber' and 'The Gypsy King' have fought on three occasions already. The pair battled it out for heavyweight gold in 2018, 2020, and 2021, with Fury winning two of those matchups by knockout.

However, all three matchups were very entertaining, and have their place in history as one of the best trilogies in boxing history. That being said, it seems that Fury and Wilder might be aiming for a rare quadrilogy matchup with their recent comments.

In February, while attending Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury, the two heavyweights had an embrace. They ran into each other at the venue and had a nice greeting complete with a hug and nice comments. For a moment, the hatchet seemed buried.

However, that lasted about a month. Deontay Wilder recently came out and admitted that he still hates Tyson Fury. The former champion stated that his rival is a cheater, but admitted that Saudi Arabia wasn't the place to try and cause a scene.

Those comments drew the ire of John Fury. One of the trainers of the heavyweight champion, as well as his father, slammed Wilder in a recent interview with All Out Fighting. He stated:

"If I was a young man like Tyson, we would have have a roll around on the carpet. I would have hit him both hands straight in the mouth, but I haven't bred a son like me. Tyson's a great boxer but he doesn't have my fire. If a man insults me I will hit him straight in the mouth."

Deontay Wilder next fight: Who will 'The Bronze Bomber' face?

Deontay Wilder has no shortage of options for his return to the ring.

'The Bronze Bomber' has been out of action since a knockout win over Robert Helenius late last year. Following that victory over 'The Nordic Nightmare', the former champion was ordered to face Andy Ruiz Jr.

That fight was expected to settle the number one contender for Tyson Fury's WBC heavyweight title. However, the matchup now seems dead, as both men have departed Premier Boxing Champions.

However, fear not, as Deontay Wilder still has options for his return. The former WBC heavyweight champion was recently ranked number one by the WBA, sparking rumors of a fight with Oleksandr Usyk. 'The Cat' is currently in talks with Daniel Dubois.

The most likely option as of now appears to be former UFC champion Francis Ngannou. 'The Predator' revealed that the two are in talks for a fight in Africa.
