UFC returns this Saturday (Sunday 24th May, 4 AM, IST) live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada for UFC 187 on PPV, featuring two world title fights at the top of the card to a stacked undercard filled with top contenders, this is probably the best and the biggest event of 2015 so far, with some Fantasy MMA Kountermove, you could make this card even more fun than it already is.

“What is Kountermove? -> Kountermove.com is currently the world’s leading Fantasy MMA community. Kountermove is like fantasy Cricket, football or baseball, but for Combat sports. Pick team of 5 fighters: - Games are played over a single night during one event. Each fighter is assigned a price that is reflective of his or her respective odds.

How it works

Scoring

So let’s break down the UFC 187 for Kountermove.com fantasy MMA:-

MVP Pick:

Travis Browne (17-2)

KounterMove Price $5200

Browne is a legit top 10 heavyweight in the world. He has finished 15 of his 17 wins, including 13 by knockout, and he has seven stoppages in his eight UFC victories, which demonstrates his ability to finish fights. Browne is the better, younger faster and probably more powerful fighter out of the two. Brown will get the finish and collect many Kountermove points in the process.

Valued Picks:

Donald Cerrone (12-2)

KounterMove Price $4500

This was a pretty easy pick for me ‘cause if anyone would have said to me that one of the most violent fighter on the most active and amazing streak of his career will be available at that price against a late replacement fighter, I would have not believed him, but that’s what happened here. Makdessi is a good fighter but this will be Cerrone’s shining moment as he will display that violence and get the finish to make a statement to cement his claim on the next title shot.

Justin Scoggins (9-2)

KounterMove Price $4900

Despite coming off two straight losses, I’m giving a huge edge to Scoggings in this fight. He’s the better striker, better wrestler, younger and more dynamic fighter out of the two. He was winning the fight against Moraga until he made some very basic mistakes and Moraga made him pay for those by finishing him. He is young in the sport and will grow as a fighter with experience and i think he will collect many KM points in this fight either by getting a finish or winning a clear cut three round decision.

Fighter to avoid:

Dong Hyun Kim

KounterMove Price $4900

DHK has lately developed some one-punch KO power and was knocking guys out left and right but that made him divert from him very successful top control wrestling heavy game. Now he tends to drop his volume and get lost looking for one perfect shot.

Burkman is not a world beater but does have an iron chin. Even one of the heaviest hitters in UFC WW division Hector Lombard couldn’t finish him despite being juiced up to his gills with steroids. DHK loses to fighters who can take his shot and posses’ better cardio than him as he fades quickly these days and Burkeman could very well be that fighter.

That’s it. Happy picking and Good luck!
